“When students realize that their artwork has somehow vered from the initial plan, this is when teaching art is exciting. At this juncture, students are forced to be resourceful and take a risk in order to push their work forward. This is when as a teacher I have to help students answer for themselves the question “What do I do now?” Each student’s new course of action becomes a testament of individuality.”
